Southern Star Disc Golf Duo II
Let's do this again! Time for another round of the Southern Star Disc Golf Duo! The emphasis is playing the two Conroe DG courses, benifiting Friends of Texas Wildlife and enjoying some social time with our favorite local brew at the Southern Star Brewery! For the 2017 Duo, Southern Star has elected to do the underwriting for a PDGA B tier and custom discs by Innova Discs! The Player's Pack and the Pro Purse added $$ are all compliments of our great host and sponsor! To add to this, the post party at the brewery this year will feature some Skins sponsored by Spring Valley DGProShop! The Skins play for additional payout ($50/hole) will take place on the Southern Star 5 Hole Loop AND if you play in the Duo, you'll have a chance to play in the Skins! The top 2 Open Pro, top Pro Master and top Pro Grand Master finishers from the competition rounds at McD and Lil E will automatically qualify to play. Their partners will be decided by a raffle drawing immediately after the second round is complete. All players can buy into the skins raffle for a chance to play. Spring Valley DGProShop is adding $50/hole to the Skins and 50% of the raffle will go to Skins and the other 50% to the Friends of Texas Wildlife! It should make for an exciting finish.
The field is limited to 144 players. Friends of Texas Wildlife will be at the Player's Meeting at McDade Park to introduce us to some of their super cool rescues like last year. There's $500 added to the Pro Purse and a Southern Star Brewery disc for All AM players. A fun day of disc golf at fun courses for a good cause and a chance to support a local favorite! Field Limited to 144 Players (2 Pools) with Division Caps until 9/30/17. Wait list players will be registered and listed in order received per division on PDGA roster. As of 10/1/17 the Waitlist Reverts to Order Received. Wait list players will be added to the list if/when spots become available. IF YOU PRE-REGISTER AND ARE PLACED ON THE WAIT LIST AND DO NOT GET IN, YOU WILL RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. If DAY OF Registration is offered, there will be a $5 Late Registration Fee.
